PMI’s lighting has been shown at the Brueton Showroom and at the Architectural Digest Home Design show in New York City. Our products have appeared in important showrooms and hotels in Italy like the Haworth Castelli Creative Center in Rome, the Estel Interform Showroom in Florence, Hotel Fontermosa in Fonteblanda in the Maremma, Hotel Castello di Gabbiano in Mercatale Val di Pesa, Florence, and at a Dino Gavina Exhibit in Central Florence. It’s easy to find the resources needed to begin manufacturing lighting in the USA. Crucial to production is metal fabrication which is also crucial to many diverse industries in the United States. Metal fabrication has evolved significantly over a wide range of services. The metal manufacturing process starts with 3D models. PMI has the 3D models for all our lighting products.
Examples of fabrication services include laser metal cutting, bending, flat finishing, tapping, and rapid fabrication.
Testing and Certification of Lighting
All PMI lighting products have CE and UL approvals and can be sold in Europe and in the United States.
CE marking is a comprehensive certification for the EU market. It indicates that a product complies with the essential requirements of the relevant European Union directives and regulations, covering aspects like safely, health, environment, and consumer protection. The equivalent in the USA involves a combination of FCC, UL, ETL, and CSA certifications.
